In our semester project on the topic of today and tomorrow, we dealt with the problem of waste and the question of how our waste of today can represent a raw material for our future. It was important for us to point out previous waste production and to inform consumers how waste can be reduced and avoided. Therefore we created an explanation video and a website.

We separate today and tomorrow into two one-pagers each. To enable a structured start, we defined a common start page, from which one can get to the individual pages.

The page of today serves to present the current situation and provides an introduction to the topic and the problems.
The second one-pager presents strategies and principles that can help us to produce less waste in the future and to move more towards a circular economy.

We integrated many different interactions into our website to make the information as interesting as possible for the user.

The navigation bar's fixed position in the upper left margin is intended to give users an orientation where they are on the website and enables them to jump between the two one-pagers

For our navigation bar we created icons. The illustration style is based on the rest of the visualizations, a minimalist style. With the help of our simplified illustrations we wanted to bring lightness to the complex topic.

In addition to our website, we made an explainer video about Cradle to Cradle, which works both as a standalone explanatory video, but also on our website. Cradle to Cradle is one of the new innovative approaches to reducing our waste.
